Chef John has worked in the culinary industry for 22 years, across three states, in operations ranging from fine dining to BBQ catering. Although he's spent time serving celebrities, musicians, and White House staff he still considers himself a simple chef with basic values.  Among those are a love for creating memorable flavors, elevating quality products with technical skill, and sharing his passion with others.

Sharing knowledge and excitement for cooking comes naturally for the Chef, whose second professional love has always been education. He has worked with hundreds of students across age ranges and abilities. Whether helping in a special needs program for preschoolers or mentoring gifted university undergraduates, Chef John embodies a patient love for the learning process and a true joy for student success and mastery.
